News and and ideas from the English Campus training team
| News and ideas The MEC training team has had a very busy year. During 2009, it offered over 25 of its hugely popular ‘MEC clinics’, published more than 150 thought-provoking postings on the English Campus blog www.connect2mec.com, and welcomed a new member, Pedro Moura, who joins Sarah Milligan, Joanna Trzmielewska and Jane Wright in bringing you top tips, suggestions and training on the English Campus.
'MEC clinics' are live online sessions, free for all English Campus users, which focus on a particular Campus functionality, or on a group of resources. In 2009, they helped over 150 teachers make the most of the English Campus. Some of the most popular clinics covered topics as varied as the Campus business videos, the new Voice Record and Playback tool, the MEC News Items, and the Young Learner resources. Coming up for 2010 , the training team has prepared a list of fascinating and helpful topics for the next clinics, as well as a series of top-up training sessions for teachers who are new to MEC, or anyone who just feels the need to freshen up their Campus skills. If there is any aspect of the English Campus on which you would like us to offer a clinic, please write to Sarah Milligan, at s.milligan@macmillan.com, to share your ideas.
All details of future clinics and training sessions will be published on the English Campus blog, and you will be able to book your place by emailing Sarah. Keep in touch – and do let us know what you think via email, or by leaving a comment on the blog. _______________________________________________________________________ If you'd like to know more about any aspect of the English Campus, please contact: Giulia Merlo |
