New business English resources with video

As part of our commitment to regular publishing on the Macmillan English Campus, we're delighted to announce the release of 50 new business English resources, including video. The British English resources, at beginner, elementary and pre-intermediate level, consist of 30 listening activities, 14 video activities and 6 writing exercises. American English resources with video will follow in May 2009.

You can find the video resources by typing “video activity” into the Word & Phrase search.

The 14 video activities are based on 6 purpose-made video clips which play from within the resource at the click of a button. These high-quality resources practise business-related vocabulary and language points. Topics covered at each level are ‘job interviews', ‘presentation skills' and ‘participation in meetings'.

To support this fantastic new video content are 30 listening activities based on essential business topics such as ‘making travel arrangements', ‘telephone skills' and ‘negotiation skills'. These interactive resources offer the ideal language and vocabulary practice for business English learners.

To complete the set, the 6 new writing activities use a business context to show best practice for business English writing. Students can work on a range of different topics, from ‘writing formal and informal emails' to ‘requesting information' and ‘dealing with complaints'. Students reconstruct dialogues to complete language and vocabulary tasks, giving them a strong foundation in business English writing skills.

Key Features:

• A wide range of topic based material covering a variety of business-related themes.
