Video activities are one of the most popular features of the Macmillan English Campus, and reflect our commitment to delivering engaging interactive access to authentic language. This month, we have enriched our media content even further with 21 brand-new business English activities, all of them accompanied by purpose-made videos, and available to all English Campus users. These video-based resources combine topical content with realistic and pragmatic business scenarios, and allow students to practise essential business skills, such as giving presentations, participating in board meetings, negotiating and confirming orders in person or over the phone, and sitting in on interviews and appraisals.
Enjoying the media content is simple and intuitive, as all the videos can be played directly from within the activity: you only need to click on the 'Play' button to launch them.
The video toolbar gives you full control over the playback , allowing you to easily pause and restart, or move back and forward to a specific point; it also includes a 'HQ' option to watch the videos in higher resolution. To help you make the most of these new materials, the MEC Training Team is already preparing a dedicated live online clinic; this will take place on May 27th, and as always it will be free of charge for all English Campus users.
