MEC training and support

The Macmillan English Campus training team is keen to support your teachers and administrators as you begin using MEC in your institution. Training sessions are typically hands-on for teachers and administrators and focus on the key points that they will need to know to get started on MEC.

What training do we offer?
All customers are entitled to either face-to-face training on-site or online sessions from one of our expert trainers, often at no extra cost. This is taken at your discretion and normally carried out with a small number of key MEC staff and teachers. Additional training can, of course, be arranged if required. We run regular, free online 'MEC Clinics' for top-up training and ideas sharing and we also provide a large range of support materials on this site.

  • Day 2 - This session, for those who will be your MEC administrators and coordinators (i.e. not necessarily teachers), also lasts 4-5 hours and deals with the MEC Administration area: Building and adapting courses on MEC, creating and managing classes and the process of loading and editing users and classes on your site. The final part of the training is an interactive session on different ways in which MEC can be used both inside and outside the classroom.
